Best way from Wilderness Lodge to Epcot for the day

What is the best way to go from the Wilderness Lodge to Epcot for the day. We will have a rental car and don't mind using it, but is the bus better or is there a way to go to Contemp and take the Monorail there?

You have three options...
1. your car
2. the resort bus to Epcot
3. take the boat from WL to CR, get on the monorail there, go to TTC (next stop), change over to the Epcot monorail line.

It's pretty much up to you. If you have the time to kill, I love riding the monorail, but it isn't going to be the fastest way for you from WL.

You could take the boat to the CR and then catch the resort monorail to the TTC where you would need to transfer to the Epcot monorail.

Or you could take a bus to the TTC and then just catch the Epcot monorail.

The direct bus from WL to Epcot would probably be faster than either but not as fun.

Driving yourself would be the fastest unless you lucked out with timing for the direct buses.

Well, forget my second option...or at least for now. Chip n Dale Express has reported that for now at least, the FW/WL/TTC bus is being discontinued.

The best way (shortest) is to take the bus from WL. You'll arrive in 20-25 minutes.

When we take the monorail from CR to Epcot, it's a minimum of 40 minutes. You take the resort train to the ttc, walk down and up those long ramps to get to the Epcot platform, catch the train to Epcot then walk all the way down those long ramps. You'll have to add abt 15 minutes to take the boat from WL to CR, then walk upstairs.

We REALLY wish there was a bus from CR to Epcot. We really hated the monorail. *We* were tempted to take the boat to WL & the bus from there! *LOL*

Yeah, that would have been my suggestion also. What we did when going to epcot was to tak which ever bus came first out of TTC or direct to Epcot. Travel time was about the same going to TTC then monorail as taking the bus directly to Epcot. Since TTC seems to not be an option I would personally lean toward driving.
