best way from Epcot (World Showcase) to Poly?

without having to walk through entire Epcot park to get to monorail after leaving Illuminations is there a quicker way to get back to Poly? I guess you can take the boat to Epcot resorts back to Boardwalk and then take boat to MGM to get bus out in front? is this good or anyone know better plan?

Best and fastest way is to wade through crowd and catch monorail. The other way is to walk out International Gateway entrance and then either walk (about 25 minutes) or take boat (about 30 minutes) to MGM and catch bus there. Problem is MGM during prime seasons usually closes at 9 or 10 and thus you would just be going from one rush hour (and long wait for a transport) at Epcot to another at MGM. Third potential would be to exit International Gateway, walk over to Boardwalk (8 minutes) and catch bus to MK there and then boat or monorail from MK to Poly, but that requires MK to be open and will still take longer than just going to Epcot monorail.

I was thinking of the walk to BWV and catch the bus option, but I agree that the monorail would be quickest. Just sit back for a few minutes and let the crowd die down. It is amazing--for a while the monorail is packed like sardines, and 5 minutes later it is half empty.
