Best way for a Family of 6

Thought I'd jump in and say hi....

We are coming from CA for a week at the end of January. There will be me, DW, DS7, DD2.5, + Mom and Dad. What do you feel would be the best way to get all of us (and our luggage) to get the resort. We are staying on-property. I thought about TownCars, but I would need a couple. Are there options for vans?

Any help would be appreciated...

Plenty of minivans, which hold six people comfortably, are for rent.

You could probably fit into a limo - depends on how much luggage you bring. We are a party of 5 and can easily fit!

We are a family of six. We always rent a minivan. With a little legwork, I'm able to find a week-long rental for about $250 (total). That cost is about the same as what you will pay for round trip transfers for all 6 people in your group.

Parking at the Disney resort is free, plus we really enjoy the flexibility of being able to use our own car to jaunt around (instead of those pesky buses). As an added bonus, we can take our car to the local grocery store or to a restaurant off property.

We are a family of 6 and rent a mini van...works nicely..

We are a family of six and rented a luxury car or premium car.

We usually also rent a car. You could get a van from a town car service that woul fit your family if you don't want to rent. I wouldn't go with Mears for that many people--it would get expensive and it takes a while since you stop at other resorts.

Thanks everyone...after looking around, I am just going to rent a mini-van. That way we have it when we need it....

I've done Mears once...and only once. Never again (especially with this many people).
