Hello,

I have never been to the Disney water parks and would like to take my son who is 3. Which is best Typhoon, BLizzard or Wet N'Wild (I know that's offsite)

He is a little timid in the water but he loves it...so I am looking for something that does not have a lot of sprinklers (he didn't like about POP's kiddie pool) but sand and slides are good.

Also, does anyone of them offer discounts for after 4:00 pm admission. That's popular in the Northeast the discounted later day admission.

thanks for the help.

My two year old loved Typhoon Lagoon as well. There is an adorable little tube slide, just like the big ones, but for the toddler set. He loved that! The kids area is huge and wonderful for little ones, but be careful, it is big! My 6 year old got separated from us in the kiddie area and scared himself, he went to a cast member who helped him find us. Great cast member help that day!

The kiddie areas at both parks are great so I would suggest you go with the one with the theming most attractive to you or closest to your resort.

Honestly the pools at the WDW resorts are so great that our son never even realized there were waterparks until he was 7. Personally, I would stay at the resort pool.

My daughter loved the kiddie area at BB when she was that age. Actually the first time we went she was a bit timid until she went down the first slide. Then we couldn't keep her off of it.

Went to TL for the first time last week but my daughter is now 10 so didn't check out the kiddie area there. But, the larger rides at TL are quite slow and not long at all.

the best water park IMO for your son would have been River Country, and I am SO SAD that it's gone. in 1997 we went to all three water parks with kids then aged 6, 4, and 18 mos., and it was, by far, the best of the three if you're not into big slides, thrill rides. i know it's been a few years since it's closed, but i'm still in mourning....

that said, and never having been to wet n wild, we though TL was better than BB--BB had too much sun in the kiddie area at the time. it's been a few years, so maybe that's changed. we've only gone back to TL since the big trip in 97.
