Best Washington Bypass Route

Just wondering if anyone has driven the I295 route lately or if I66 is still the way to go. We leave a week today and my new Triptik shows the I66 route off of I95. Any new info out there?

I'm not sure what your points A and B are in your question.... I66 will not get your "around" DC. 66 begins at the the Virginia side of DC (Arlington) and runs up to 81 in Shenandoah. I66 and I95 do not meet or cross at any point.
