Best view?

Want to watch the Magic/Carnival ships sail from CC: can anyone tell us the best place to view them leaving port? We notice that many people stand right at the end of the port entrance: can we drive parellel to the river, or do we have to go via Cocoa Beach?Thanks for any info. Nat

My favorite place to watch the ships leave from is Grills. We get there early - get an ouside table, a nice meal, and watch the ships. Saturday night they also have live bands out on the deck so you get some music to enjoy as well.

the grills is the place the magic/wonder blows the horn a second time. the DCL crews like to eat there. at least thats what Capt Henry told me. and with the big windows you cant miss much. the food is great.

The best place to watch either ship leave port is from the ship itself. Jetty Park will give you great off-ship views too.

OK, maybe I don't get this but how can you watch the ship leave from CC (castaway Cay)???? If there was a way to stay there and watch believe me I would have found it LOL....

Maybe you meant Cape Canaverral, because that is where the port is???

Cape Canaveral is what I took it to be which is why I said Grills. To me Port Canaveral, Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach are kind of all interchangeable. I know they aren't to the people living there, but I get them all mixed together.
