I am planning on having a dessert party in Epcot for about 75-100 people. I really would love it in Italy but the Sales manager said we have to garantee 100 people which I can garantee at this time. She said it was best to pick a different venue so I tenativly picked the Lower French terrace. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which is the best place?

Lower French terrace has a wonderful view..it is very nice. IMO you really can't go wrong w/ any of the sites...the french arm may have an area with an obstruction (a tree?) but otherwise both the french upper and lower are nice. I believe Uk is probably too small unless you book both upper and lower.

i think the UK is too small. Italy is lovely, but out of the rest i think france is probably the best!

When we had our Illuminations Dessert Party we had lower UK, I didn't like it that much due the the island in the middle.

Just this last January we went to Disney for our anniversary and got really lucky to see Illuminations from the Italy Isola (the one with the bridge) it was an AMAZING view! The fireworks rocket over you, and the globe is really close.

Just a thought. We are having our vow renewal dessert party(40 people) at Italy Isola West wing. It is located right next to the main Isola. We were told if there is no other event planned for that night on the main Isola, our event could be moved there. You might want to reserve the west wing and hope for a move down to the lower Isola.

I've been fortunate enough to attend a number of Illumination Dessert Parties.

For guests 75 and upwards I certainly recommend Italy Isola and France Lower.

For smaller parties I loved UK - we had 45 at UK Lower for our wedding (being from the UK this seemed a must) and it was perfect the wind was working for us but it can be a pain if the wind is in the wrong direction.

I've done UK Upper with a party of about 15-20 and it's fun, you do get a good view but not such as good as UK lower IMHO - to have both for larger parties would be really cool :Pinkbounc

Oh and Morocco - but again that's for smaller parties - it's OK but I prefer all those I mentioned above, again just my opinion.
