Best vegetarian food at DHS?

We had a lunch ADR at Sci Fi for our upcoming trip because dh and I wanted to try the tofu dish (and we thought the atmosphere would be fun for our 3 little kids). Since that's gone now I've cancelled that ADR and we're wondering where we should eat. Any suggestions for a good vegetarian lunch or dinner? Can be counter service or sit down. We're not on a dining plan. Thanks!

Brown Derby has a noodle dish with tofu. It's good (or it was when I tried it) and it's not just vegetarian, it's vegan. Brown Derby is more expensive than other restaurants in the park, though, and it isn't exactly a cater to little kids kind of atmosphere, although there will be plenty of kids there.

I just checked out their menu on AllEars and it sounds wonderful. Thanks for the suggestion! How accomodating are WDW restaurants to menu selection alterations? Do you think they would do a noodle bowl for our 6 year old? Just noodles and seasonings with none of the other stuff? The other two will be happy with the grilled cheese, but he will want noodles.

I don't know, I don't have children and I don't know how Brown Derby handles those requests. Since you're not on the dining plan they might put something together. But I got to try the noodle bowl because it was too much for my friend who got it to eat it all...if the child will eat the entire dish it should be possible for you to share yours.
