Best value restaurants when paying oop

We are fortunate to go for two weeks at the end of August/first week of September. The first week we are staying off site hence no disney dining plan which restaurants are the best value when paying oop? thanks

One way to save money is to share food. Especially when it is hot outside we don't like to eat alot and walk around in the heat. We haven't done the Dining Plan in a long time. We do eat offsite alot but our favorites we don't miss at WDW are Earle of Sandwich, Wolfgang Puck (huge portions), Beaches and Cream (DD and DH share a shake and DD and I share the Burger and Fries and we all all full). MK we like Columbia HH, Casey's, and have been known to order the double cheeseburger at Pecos Bill and pay for an extra bun and DD and I share. MK Dole Whip and ice cream sundaes are a good value also. Hope this helps.

Love all the suggestions the PP suggested. Other than those i'd say sunshine seasons in Epcot gets a . Also the plaza in MK is pretty decently priced. There's also the turkey legs at the parks. One of our favorite snacks are the sweet cream cheese stuffed pretzel in MK, @ scuttles landing, it's pretty filling. You can always bring in fruit form wherever you're staying to munch on too. Get free water at the parks.

We think Trail's End Buffet at Fort Wilderness is a great value for the money.

Plaza Restaurant - MK
Biergarten - get a late lunch reservation
Lunch at the resort hotels - Kona Cafe, Grand Floridian Cafe, Whispering Canyon
Beaches and Cream
