Hi DVC community!
My family is excited about potentially joining DVC, but we’re a bit stumped on choosing the right use year. Here’s our typical Disney travel pattern:
• Our main trip is always a week-long visit in late January or early February
• We occasionally do shorter trips in September or October
• We’re considering adding some early December trips for the holiday season in the future
Given this travel schedule, we’re trying to figure out:
1. Which use year would work best for our January/February trips?
2. How would this use year accommodate our occasional fall and potential December trips?
3. What are the banking deadlines for different use years, and how might they affect our planning?
4. Are there any advantages or disadvantages to certain use years for this travel pattern?
We want to make sure we choose a use year that gives us maximum flexibility and minimizes the risk of losing points. Any advice from seasoned DVC members would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help!
