Best Upscale Hotel Location to Disney

Which would be the best location to the Disney parks.... Hilton Bonnet Creek/Waldorf Astoria or JW Marriott/Ritz Carlton? Is Marriott/Ritz closer to Universal? Any thoughts on which would be the best hotel? I thought the Waldorf, Marriott and Ritz are pretty comprable??

We are staying offsite for Disney a few nights and then staying onsite at Universal. Just can't decide which offsite hotel for Disney

There are three of us - me, hubby and 13 year old. One plus for the Hilton BC or Waldorf is they have queen bed vs. double at Marriott/Ritz. Thanks!

marriott/ritiz is closer to Seaworld - which is between wdw and us/ioa

if you are going for Disney would go with waldorf - it is definitely a lovely place.

a 4 seasons is being build - and it is closer to the MK - over where one of the golf courses was located - next to FW

Ritz/Carlton-Marriotts is right down the road from Sea World. We stay there every year, while my dh attends his convention there. If you bring a rental car, you have to valet it, no self parking, plus pay for parking each day, I think it is $14 a day. The rooms and grounds are exquisite. Food is very expensive, but it is on parr with Disney food pricing. If you want to go up to IOA, you take International DR all the way to Universal. Or get back on I4. It is only 5 minutes away.

Ritz has Queen beds. We usually get a King. But our first year there we had 2 queen beds.

I drive all the time by myself to WDW, the outlet stores, IOA. For all the years we have stayed there, I never go to Sea World, but I noticed I have enough points on a forgotten Credit Card and I am getting 2 free passes to SeaWorld.

My vote would be for there. You can go to either pool. Marriotts has a lazy river and it is connected by at least 5 larger pool areas. People watching is great there too, I couldn't tell you how many times, I have seen WDW CM's VIP tour guides pick up families and they all get into a limo. Also many professional sports players and their families stay there. I am not to good at knowing them, but it doesn't take long before someone says who they are. But no one ever bothers them. They swim in the pools with their kids like everyone else.

If you like golfing, they have a course.

Our last room we had an upgrade, because they lost our ressie. We were on the West side and could see Sea World's fireworks if we were in the room at 10.
