Best unusual packed item?

I bring a handful of clothes pins - good for keeping curtains in the window shut, and if you have curtains dividing your bathroom area it keeps those shut too, and they allow you to hang towels/swimsuits, etc. on the line in the bathroom a little easier.

Back-up medication like aspirin, advil, tylenol, etc. I know that's considered a staple for most, but on at least one occasion we would need something I hadn't thought to pack, and it ended up burning us. Me especially with exlax, because for some (weird) reason, I can never seem to use the restrooms to 'clean house', if you know what I mean.

I second this! I don't get sick often but I found out the hard way last trip that you never know what you will encounter while at WDW. By the end of our trip, I had developed a horrid cough and a fever and shelled out $15 for travel size cough syrup in the store :rolleyes2 I went to the doctor when I got home and I had pneumonia. Now, I bring medicine for any possible ailment - cold meds, allergy meds, decongestants, pepto bismol, sleep aids, fever reducers, Neosporin, etc. I have a little bag I keep all this stuff in. I'd rather lug all these things and not need them than have one of us feel crappy and/or pay exorbitant prices for meds.

This is a random one, but I threw in a little $1 soap dish--the kind with the nubs to keep the soap dry. It kept the soap from touching the shower, which always skeeves me out (I know, a little OCD). I really liked having it.

Along the same lines, pump hand soap for the sink--it's just easier for the kids and I prefer it because bar soap always gets caught in my rings.

A ziplock bag for autograph books. Essential for water rides and potential rainstorms!

A toothbrush holder to keep at the sink. I got ours at the Dollar Store. And lots of Dollar Store ponchos.

Several dollar store rain poncho's per person - they are a one use only kind of thing. Toss when used. Have used them for the obvious & on Kali River Rapids :)

A low light night light.. no stubbing toes on the middle of the night bathroom trip.

Pump hand soap.. less mess.

A shower cap

Ok! List time! What item did you pack for the FIRST time last trip, that you will now pack EVERYTIME?? Mine is a pop up laundry bag! It was great to have a place for our "used clothes to go!

Mine is one of those plastic shoe organizers you hang on a door. I learned the trick on cruises where there is next to no bathroom space but love the easy storage and clear counters in a hotel now I use it at Disney every time. So nice to keep every neat and tidy!
