We are going to DL the first week of December. We are planning on making our first day in the parks Sunday the 1st of Dec which is the last day of the Thanksgiving holiday period. We have 9 nights all together (plan on having a couple of non park days to recover from early mornings, late nights & jet lag) and I was wondering what night people think would be better to see Fantasmic. Wanting the least crowded if possible. We are considering that first Sunday night (thinking most people will have gone home from their Thanksgiving Holiday) or Friday the 6th of December. We do plan on buying the brunch reserved seating package and I will have an ECV so we are happy with sitting (or standing) at the back of the reserved area. Would love peoples input, thanks.

Hard to say but if I was choosing myself I’d choose the Sunday. Locals will come Friday night plus it’s Candlelight that weekend 12/7 and 12/8).

Fantasmic is always pretty crowded so I'm not sure if one day or the other would make much a difference. You'll be ahead of the game anyway since you're buying a dining package.

ECV with dining package provides one of the best possible views. ECVs must park in the back of the dining area, and everyone in front must remain seated on the ground -- guests remain seated on the ECV

Yes I was hoping that was the case. With my dodgy old knees theres no way I could sit on the ground, or should I say I possibly could sit on the ground but I would never get up again in a million years. They would have to build a planter around me and just leave me there. I could become a permanent fixture like a gnome in the garden. :rotfl2:
