I LOVE my Britax stroller, but we are going to visit Disneyland and have decided to bring a light umbrella stroller for the trip. Baby is three, and as much as he might complain that he wants to walk, we still use strollers.

We are bringing his carseat, but I was wondering if anyone has some good umbrella stroller recommendations.

Criteria: Light, easier to fold and carry, BIG canopy and relatively sturdy with a good boot/storage. And a good price. Any thoughts?

I had a great stroller for you until you mentioned good price! ha ha We adore our Uppababy stroller, lightweight and even has a shoulder strap to carry it for onto and off of the bus, large canopy and even a recline feature. however, it's quite expensive.

First Years Ignite! :) Love mine and I got it on clearance for only $35, but they aren't too badly priced regularly

I love my Combi Cosmo, but they run around $100 (not sure what your budget is). They are lightweight, recline so littles can nap on the go, and have a trifold feature that allows the stroller to stand by itself when folded. They also have a carry strap so you can sling it over your shoulder if you want to. However, I couldn't find an umbrella stroller I liked in my price range that had a good canopy and good storage. I ended up buying a Kiddopotamus Rayshade and two J.L. Childress Side Sling cargo bags off Amazon. Both items cost me less than $40 total and they can be used on just about any stroller. Best of all, I didn't have to remove the cargo bags or sunshade to fold up my stroller, and the bags didn't make it tippy or wobbly, either. Hope you find something that works for you. :)

I am not sure there is such thing as an umbrella stroller with a big canopy LOL. Last time we went, DS was 2 and 1/2 we used our britax blink umbrella stroller, which is quite light, reclines fully and has a "bigish" shade for an umbrella stroller, but we bought a rayshade to go with it because the shade was not big enough.

I reco the Rayshade as well. Works great and provides the coverage you'll need at the parks

Never heard of Rayshade. I think that will solve my problem
When looking for an umbrella stroller that doesn't hide the sun very well.

I ended up getting a Summer stroller - forgot the exact name, but it's the orange and grey one. It worked out pretty good, with the exception of the harness which is fine in the shoulders, but a little tight between the legs. It worked out well though, since it was more of a backup anyway (a way to get from point A. to point B. in a rush.) Sometimes I was pushing a "phantom baby" or a glorified shopping cart! Either way, it worked nicely.

Thanks for all the advice everyone!
