My boyfriend and I are going to WDW with his parents in Marhc (no little ones). I've been looking for a bad that you can have go over your body to bring with us...having a hard time finding something...what do you all bring with you as a bag to carry things (i.e. camera/tickets/water bottle) in?? THANKS :) :sunny:

I try to carry as little as possible. :goodvibes

Pick the smallest bag that will fit your camera. I don't usually carry water bottles. I'll get drinks as I need them.

I have an Eagle Creek bag that can used across your body as a purse, and also has a hidden waist strap so it can be used as a fanny pack on wilder rides.

i usually have a big mesanger bag. they work really well;
big, not hard to carry around, and its right at my side so i know if someones trying to get into it :thumbsup2

Last time I traveled light and used a good sized fanny pack - not too much to deal with for wild rides - on wet rides you can kind of tuck it inside you clothes. Also, you always have it on so you don't need to worry about accidentally leaving it somewhere.

Next trip I am traveling with a toddler and still plan on taking the fanny pack. I am going to get a big ugly diaper bag that I will leave with the stroller, but still won't leave anything that I wouldn't want to loose, just diapers wipes and anything easily replacable, just in case. I'd be sad it someone took my favorite diaper bag - but on the other hand I'm not willing to lug it on rides either.

Several have posted they use and love this and it comes in Dis lime green!
Go to ebags.com Mousesavers always has a discont link to ebags in their newsletters. HTH

I usually take a small backpack. I used to take a medium size fanny pack but I hated it that every time I was in a picture I had this fanny pack on. UGGG!

The backpack I have has several smaller zippered sections. I can put our film and other loose items in the small sections. In the large section, I take our rain ponchos. Be sure to take gallon size ziplocks to put your wet ponchos in.

Our camera has a small loop attached so you can put it around your wrist. I bought one of the small carabiner clips which I attach from the loop on the camera. I clip the carabiner to my belt loop. This is easier than taking it in and out of the backpack.

Hope this helps, Lisa

I take my Coach over-the-body bag. It fits my camera, wallet, hand sanitizer and my cell phone.

I got a tip about a bag for my last trip here at DisBoards. I bought a leather backpack in Kohls. It's got a zipper, so it can be an over the shoulder bag OR a backpack. It has a nice zipper section in the back, which I used for a few things I wanted separated. It had plenty of room for a camera and a few other things, but it isn't too large. It also has a nice, small pocket in the front for my driver's license, a credit card, etc.. Whoever gave me the tip, thanks because I still use this bag! It also wasn't expensive - I think they had a buy 1 get 1 free sale, so I got a purse for free. Bargain! :teeth:

Thanks everyone! I got lots of ideas and was on the ebags website for awhile until I found something I believe might work. I got the Manhattan Portage - City Lights(Medium) - It should be here on Friday - ordered it now - in case I need to return it and get a new one before we leave! :)

I see you already decided on something, but I wanted to post my vote for the Travelon Expandable Shoulder Bag, which I got from QVC.

I have bought SO many "Disney" bags over the years, but I LOVE this one! I didn't like the fanny pack because it didn't hold enough for me, and I found a backpack a pain, because you have to take it off to get what you want, and take it off to sit down. But I love this Travelon bag, it's just there, you don't have to move it to sit down and it can't fall off.

This is my new favorite WDW bag.

The Columbia Tour Pouch sold at www.campmor.com

I used it for a long weekend trip to WDW and it was PERFECT. Big enough for my camera, wallet, small snacks, small notebook, sunscreen, cell phone, and the water bottle holder on the side. I even jammed a poncho in there one day.

A Backpack works best for us :thumbsup2

DH will carry it when I get tired as long as it's plain black, girly won't work.

I bought the Travelon Shoulder Bag as well. LOVE IT! I used a backpack last year and found after a few days my back & shoulders were hurting from constantly having to pull it off and on to get to things. The Travelon bag goes across your shoulders and you don't have to remove it to get to everything you need!

Healthy Back Bag is perfect. Over the shoulder, it won't slip off. Across the body with the bag in back or front, very comfy, lots of pockets. You can buy a solid and attach a Disney patch if you want to "Disney-fy" it some. I absolutely love my HBBs. BTW, I got mine from AAA, of all places, but eBags carries them, too.

Do you mean this @ Qvc
