My husband and I were glad we shared the four course meal at Artist Point. We had a rich portobello mushroom soup, great bread, split a nice salad, the buffalo steak, and actually each had room to enjoy half the cobbler. There is no way either of us could have eaten all that food ourselves.
The waiter did not seem to mind us sharing one meal.
Oh, I should make it a little clearer--I mean biggest portions to share that also fit with the free dining plan. I don't know if the four-course meal can be used in free dining! But thanks for replying!
Two places we shared with the dining plan and did well were:
1) California Grill -- we got 2 sushi, 2 entrees and 2 deserts for 3 people it was WAY too much food. We were full after the sushi! We left 1/2 our entrees behind and then took the deserts to go.
2) Beaches and Cream -- 1 caesar salad, 1 double cheeseburger with fries, 1 ice tea (counted a "drink") and 1 root beer floated (counted as "desert") for 2 people. They even split the cheeseburger and the salad onto 2 plates for us.
On the other hand at Jiko I ate everything and was glad I didn't have to share. Part of that was that food was very yummy so I kind of stuffed myself, but I stuffed myself at C.G. too and still left plenty behind.
50's PT - the portions each time have been HUGE. Last time, DH and I split an entree and our table split an appetizer - no dessert - and we were completely stuffed. They split everything in the kitchen as well so we both had the beautiful presentation =)
DH and I were going to share at Alfredo's. Not possible. We ended up sharing at 50's prime time, and it was okay. Portions were well sized (especially with the appetizer and the dessert).
