I'm planning my first solo vacation and my 180 day mark is coming up in 9 days.

What TS restaurants as best for solo travellers?

I'm already planning on California Grill and Victoria's & Albert's.

That leaves me with at least 3 more meals to have as TS.

I would go to JIKO (Animal Kingdom Lodge) - since they have a spot that you can eat at the bar, looking into the kitchen. You can watch the chefs while you sip your wine. The food at JIKO is fantastic! Not as unusual as you may think. I love the lamb shank.

In the parks, I'd choose Chefs de France, and ask for a seat on the glassed-in side (to the right, as you enter the restaurant). Again, great food, and the people watching is great. We were able to watch the french acrobats perform when we had lunch there.

Artist Point. It's generally a quiet restaurant with superb service and wonderful food. You can have a wine flight, as well, with you meal to help pass the time. :thumbsup2

I agree with Harambe about Chefs de France except where you ask to get seated depends what time you're dining. During the day, yes, Harambe's right - but if your ADR is close to 9, ask to be seated in the glassed area to the left, ideally at a table next to the window. They'll dim the lights for Illuminations and you get a pretty darn good view :)

Yes I was thinking of lunch. Thanks for steering the OP in the right direction for a late dinner!

I've always loved dining solo at Chefs de France at lunch time, and I've always gotten a window table (with no extra wait). The only thing that's a little strange is that people who are ouside think nothing of walking up to the window right in front of me and looking in. A little strange, but OK. Another place that's really comfortable for solos, I find, is Sci-Fi. Everyone's just sitting watching the screen in the dark, so it gives you something to do to watch the cheesy trailers.
