I don't normally do these but I did want to share some thoughts and experiences.

Arrived at CCI mid-morning, dropped bags and was in park by 11:30. Checked in for RDZ Fantasmic lunch at 12:40, chef made me up a special plate and that worked out fine. Spent some time shopping, looking for those elusive items never found and went back to CCI to unpack. While waiting for room to be ready, met a nice lady from SF area and we chatted quite a bit. Her name was Nicole and she is a super Disneyophile, and a school teacher by trade. More on her later. While shopping, I ran into this nice lady... gotta go catch my plane...more to come

Okay...got home a couple of hours ago, flight was okay except a woman with a baby and a 3year old sat next to me and the toddler made a mess and spilled water and juice all over...mom was oblivious as she was trying to manage baby...meanwhile Dad sat in row behind watching his phone.....😡😱

But I digress...

Saturday night was Fantasmic, which was great as always...love that show! Fireworks after, liked Wondrous Journeys OK but it wasn't my favorite...i liked some of the older shows better...Was one called Remember theMagic?
I also tend to prefer the Christmas ones...

Caught the shuttle back to hotel and off to bed...

SUNDAY-WHAT A DAY!

The morning was "AvengerDay" for me with lots of pictures along the way...
I got so many compliments of my outfits this trip, especially my ears. I make them all myself so it's nice to have your work appreciated!

RodeWeb Slingers singlerider, right on, no wait. Funny thing...i got put in with two young men, maybe 20s, and you could hear the eye roll three vehicles back 😁. There were only the 3 of us. They said " well, TRY and hit some boxes on the side"...by the end, our score was 846,000, this old lady beat one of them and they were saying, "oh man, if we could have had a 4th person, we'd be on top! Have a great day, ma'am". 😂🤣

Visited with Iron Man, always a good time with him. AND THEN... out came Red Guardian! Oh my, this guy is so spot on, he's hilarious, he's got the look, the voice, everything is perfect!
Right away, he spotted my ears..."oh, look, eet's little tiny Nick Fury!" We just had a blast playing together. I had him sign my Marvel book on the Hulk's page as Bruce is always busy somewhere else. Then I asked a CM about
Star-Lord...and this lovely lady named Lauren said, "here let me take you to him"....I about flipped! Normally, the Star-Lord who does the dance off won't stop for pics or to sign so I was excited when I saw his name appear sporadically on the tip board. We had a great time and he taught me some new dance moves! 😊

The best thing was these two completed my Marvel book! I have worked on it for two years and it brings me lots of joy when I am not able to be at the park!

Before heading back for my nap, I heard there was a great commotion over at Pixar Pier so I ran to see what it was...it was ...a DINOSAUR! So fun.
Then ran into some Joy and some Sadness, too...

Stay tuned for the next exciting adventure!

SUNDAY PM

After my nap and a Subway sammie, it was back to CA. Since tonight was WOC Dessert Party, my outfit was Inside Out based, featuring Rainbow Unicorn from Dreamtime Productions, a gummy bear necklace, Bing Bong earrings and bracelet, and Ennui and Anxiety plushie ears, carrying the Ennui tote bag from Disney Store. As I came through security, the guard pointed at my ears and laughingly asked, "Which one are you?" "Depends on the time of day and usually a bit of both", I laughed.

I wanted to go dancing with Star-Lord but it was the guy I don't care for...he is too stiff, doesn't ad-lib, and really doesn't look like he enjoys his job. So I went to the Chase VISA photo op and lo and behold, it was one of my favorite Caps! He is an absolute sweetheart and has been here quite awhile. He was taken by my Captain America watchband!

One more trip single rider on Web Slingers and then I ran into my favorite Loki. I reminded him of our conversation in April when I had told him I was off to invade NewYork to try and get the Rangers into the playoffs. "And how did THAT go?", he smiled. Shaking my head, "not well, I'm afraid, we didn't make it and they fired the coach and we lost a great player...but there's always next year!" So then Loki said, "you must say it with me, raise your arms...i am filled with glorious purpose...repeat...louder this time...yes, that should do it". I love him so much...this guy's ability to stay in character and ad lib is fantastic...

I had 2nd show for WOC so caught Sh-Boom, did a little Pandora shopping, rode RSR after dark, Little Mermaid, slowly working my way back.

At WOC, I had a high top with 3 other ladies. Great view. The dessert box is super nice, i couldn't eat much of it but that macaron was FABULOUS! First time I ever ate one, well, I tried some once at Costco and they were awful. I wish I could have had two or three of those. The cobbler thing was good but I can't have cherries...😢

About the show...not my favorite. For coming from a movie about emotions, I didn't find it particularly moving. Normally, I'm tearing up in at least two or three segments of "One" and literally sobbing in theChristmas one but this...not a drop. It's a one-and-done for me.

After that, popped into DL, watched about 10 minutes of 2nd PTN until it was time for shuttle. In bed by 11:45...little didI know...tomorrow was going to be a BIG day for me!

MONDAY AM

Arrived at park a bit after 8, stopped and chatted with Frank, the resident Porch Potato lol and then off to do FL attractions. I've kinda gotten fond of Casey Jr. train now so did that too. Then, it was time for Breakfast with one of my favorite gal pals, Miss Minnie. She cooks up some delicious bacon, I'll swear to that. We bonded over our outfits and then I was seated inside. Seems like they were keeping everyone in because of the heat maybe, trying to make the characters more comfortable. Killed an hour there, then off to Royal Hall.

Since I knew my Marvel book was almost complete, I had been looking for a similar one for Princesses and found one on ebay. I wanted the journal type one, not just for signatures. The line was long but very entertaining as it was filled with allthe young princesses who had just come from Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo and were they ever cute! How lucky all these girls are to have elders who love them so much!

When it finally came my turn to enter, I turned the corner and there was...Snow White, my 2nd favorite princess growing up! Oh, she was so beautiful and perfect and kind and sweet, it made my heart sing!

Now, remember, back in my time, there was no Disney channel, no VCRs, DVDs...the only time we got to see the Disney movie is when they first came out (like Sleeping Beauty for me, I was in kindergarten) or when they were re-released on what I think was maybe a 7-year cycle? So all I had were storybooks and records to help me relive the story.

Now...here is the first great thing that happened...one of the character CMs was a fellow who I originally met 3 years ago, the first time I met Captain America. It was a warm July Sunday night, AC was practically empty and here they came, just walking along. Well, I nearly lost it, I was so excited to see Cap and since there was no one around, the three of us just chatted. He is so sweet, he told me he also worked over at DL with the princesses but since I wasn't really into them, I never looked for him. But every trip, I would ask different CMs if they knew him...no one did. i was so tickled to see him again and that he then remembered meeting me.

Next princess was Mulan...so sweet, very chatty. Very much in character as they all were.

I went down the hall and came around the partition and who was there but my very favorite princess...Cinderella! I burst into tears, I was so overwhelmed...I know a lot of people would say how stupid that is but she was the physical embodiment of someone who was very important to me as a child. Let's just say our lives were on similar paths...
She was so sweet and took my hand and comforted me and I got calmed down and it was just an awesome experience. Best character interaction ever!

Then my dear CM friend gave me a pass to come back any time to visit more princesses! So I went out and watched the Tangled show (which was hilarious), et Rapunzel and Flynn (Eugene lol) . As I left the theatre, I ran into Aurora who loved my Sleeping Beauty outfit but as it was hot out, I didn't want to keep her while I asked her to sign my book. "Well, perhaps we will meet again", she said.

After some refreshment, I went back to Royal Hall and met Ariel, Elena (I didn't even know who she was)...and PRINCESS AURORA! "See, I told you we might meet again!" JOY!

I have to say that these characters were all fantastic, in their physical appearances, voices, everything about them was authentic. Makes the experience so worth it!

At this point, I had about all the joy and happiness I could take! Back to the room for a nap and to get ready for Pride Night!

What a wonderful report, the joy radiates from it. Very beautiful photos, and it's so much fun to read about your character interactions—curious to see/read the rest!
Thank you ❤️. Normally, I'm very quiet and somewhat withdrawn and don'tshare a lot of my private life but this trip WAS SO MAGICAL....I wanted others to know even old ladies can have fun at Disneyland!

Pride Night and Paint the Night still to come!

Before I forget...I met @Pluto468 as we were passing in the shuttle..I think I was going one way, she was going another...i heard someone saying my name but I couldnt imagine who it might be...turns out another DISBoarder! I wasnt expecting to see her as I thought she was stating on prop...pleasant surprise!

OK, let's finish this up...Pride Night was a one and done for me...I felt it was more crowded than Star Wars as far as people on rides. At SW, people are off doing SW things, be it food, characters, lightsaber battles, whatever...NO ONE was hardly on rides. PN was much more of a party atmosphere, lots of loud music EVERYWHERE.
Not my jam. That said, it seemed folks were enjoying themselves, meeting up with friends, generally having a good time. I did some rides, enjoyed shopping in empty stores.

TUESDAY AM

Well, at 8:15, there were lines clear back to where the patrol dog is for security...not the way I wanted to start the day. Perhaps all my magic ran out...crowd was totally different than the previous 3 days...more of the matching T-shirts, family reunion trips, "Grandmas 80th birthday" was one group. The line at the gate was to the middle of the esplanade...keep in mind, the 3 previous days had basically been walkups at the same time of day.

I had wanted to get beignets as It was my last breakfast there but I knew I wouldnt make my tour time if I did. So I got a mocha and headed to check in for tour.
I already left a scathing review of your on that thread so I will just suffice it to say it was a waste of time.

It was very hot that day. Crowds and heat don't work for me so I left not long after tour was over to go finish packing.

After resting, I headed back to DL. Had a few passes to use so I rode Buzz ( which had an ENORMOUS line) and Pirates and then headed toTown Square to start the line for PTN seating. Met a marvelous young lady from SD and we chatted right up to the parade. I LOVE THIS PARADE...was so blown away the first time I saw it...so happy it came back. Bought some cotton candy with my treat voucher.

After, I did one more bit of shopping to buy an embroidered Pooh and Friends sweatshirt...I had seen it at Pooh Corner but didn't want to walk all the way back there to get it. Luckily, there it was in one of the shops on Main Street!

Caught the shuttle back to CCI and flew home the next morning.

Even though Tuesday was a bit ofa drag, the weekend was wonderful and I will probably stick to this Sat.-Tuesday schedule for my OBB trip.

Thanks for sharing my journey!

OH..I ALMOST FORGOT...i bought a classic pair of ears with TINKABOO on them!
If you ever see me,come say hi!
