Best transportation to rope drop AK

I realized today that we have a strategy for rope dropping every park except AK. We have two days there. One will be a Monday, and we’ll be coming from CBR. The other will be a Sunday and we’ll be coming from CR.

Should we Lyft/Uber?

The buses start running approx 1 hour before park opening. We caught the first bus to AK. Walked on to FOP. We had very good luck using Disney transport for the past 2 weeks. Stayed at BLT,WL and BWV.

And I don't know if they still do it, but they used to hold all cars at the opening parking gates (outside the parking lot, until about 1/2 hour before park opening-not good if you're thinking of Ubering over.

This happened to us today (October 12) while in our own vehicle driving from POP Century resort. The Animal Kingdom opened at 7am and the parking entrance booths opened at 6:35.

Yes, there is a different route for the buses to enter the Animal Kingdom.
