Best Time to Visit

Hi When is the best time to visit Disney so i don't clash with the UK school holidays May or June?
Or does it not matter about the school holidays?

I don't think it makes much difference, UK school's only break up for 1 week in May, I suppose families could take their children out of school perhaps so they can go for longer, it's difficult to answer in that respect.

I would say early June is a better time to go, UK kid's are at school and in the US they break up for the summer holiday's in the middle of the month.

Weather wise not much different, pretty hot but not as humid as July or August.

US schools usually break up end of the first week in June but it can vary by state. We went in early June a couple of years ago and it was pretty good. Crowds were reasonable, the weather was warm but not too hot. TouringPlans.com has some good info, so does Allears.net. Watch for Memorial Day weekend at the end of May as it will be busier for a while.

First three weeks in May would be best as both UK and US school not out.

We had the same thoughts too...

Just booked our flights with Virgin going 28.5.09 - 10.6.09 so we get there just after the Memorial Day weekend has finished are before the parks start to really get busy when the US schools break up for summer....

Great thats what i was thinking also first 3 weeks in May the missus is trying to get me to go for 2nd week in june onwards but keep telling it will get busier then!! Just a bit out of touch with holiday times from school since moving to OZ only been once in 5 years Missing it like crazy now!!

End of June starts to get really busy as American schools finish and people travel down ready for July 4th. Like others said I would say early May. If you use the fastpass service though on rides you can cut out a lot of the queues.
