I am just wondering what time of year is the best time to visit the park. I am wondering when it will be cooler and when there will be the fewest amount of tourists there. I am also worried about the weather. Do they have a rainy season I need to take consideration of? Thanks a million!pirate:

The first two or three weeks of december is typically the best time to go. Cool weather (although sometimes downright cold!) and little to no crowds.

The best time to visit with no crowds is september.... very hot though.....

Don't worry too much about the rainy season.... Just about every day in the summer it rains at 3pm for 15 minutes......

Probably the best time to go if you want cooler weather is the first two weeks in December....

The spring is very hard to figure out.... Spring break is different for different states...

Hope that help you..

First week of Nov is nice too. Low crowds and great weather!

I would recommend January to anyone. The weather was perfect, not too hot, and the crowds were negligible.

We have been to WDW the last 3 years the 2nd week of December and the crowds were very light. We just love the Christmas Holidays at WDW, it is a very special time to be at WDW.

Welcome to the DIS Boards !!!!!

I'll second that, because even though the crowds aren't real big, most of the rides were still open (not closed for refurbishment like they normally are in off-seasons).

I think the best time to go is the early part of December it's all done up for the holidays and the crowds are low....::yes::

I've always liked early December when the parks and resorts are decorated for the holidays. I also like the cooler weather and the smaller crowds. But with mt DD going into high school, it looks like we will be stuck going during school vacations for a while. As a matter of fact, we will be there with DD's friend 7/5-7/13.

Thank you all for your opinions. If I go the first or second week in December is this considered the off season? Are the park hours much shorter? I would be going over a long weekend probably Thursday to Monday so are the crowds still okay on Saturday or should I plan on that day shopping or seeing some other sites? Thanks!princess:

It is considered off season.

Sat should be the same as during the week. The times will be shorter but so will the lines.

I always go somewhere during the first two weeks of December.
It is perfectly fine with me if I have to wear my sweatshirt in the evening! Generally - the crowds are light, although everything does pick up a lot on the weekends. The Magic Kingdom is crowded on the weekends.

It is the most fantastic time to go to WDW !
