SiL was eaten alive. She literally had welts all over her legs. She loved the resort - other than those critters. Are the bugs there year around? If not, when should she go to avoid the little buggers?
Maybe she'll let my family tag along, if I get her an answer. ;)

Don't have a lot of experience at Vero, but I think the no-see-um problem is pretty much state-wide. I go to Sanibel (on the gulf coast) a lot, and I can say that when I go in late May-early June, they usually haven't come out yet. In July, they are in full force. When I go in late October, they've usually disappeared by that time. I'm pretty sure it's just basically the hot summer months. Hope this helps!

They were really bad Labor Day week. We are going down next month, and I understand they shouldn't be a problem. I will be sure to let you guys know for sure when I get back.

Last time I was at VB was in June, and those little buggers were not much of a problem. And I mean the no-see-ums too.
