best time to go?

When is your favorite time to go? We were thinking about trying for June again this year (same as last year), but then I was just recalling sometime later in the summer when people were posting that the crowds were really really low in the parks. Sometime in August or September? Due to the time change, we really need to go when the parks are open later, even though its only 3 hours, with a 2 year old it makes a difference. DD keeps asking every day to go back to Disneyland so I'm in the trip planning mode. But not sure when to go. Thanks!!!

Late June is going to be very very crowded this year because:
-World of Color, the new DCA water night show, is going to be premiering in late Spring
-all 1 million AP holders will be able to get into the park during the early parts of the last 2 weeks of June. 1 million AP holders who have just gotten off of school will be swarming to the parks for one last visit to see WoC and all of the summer stuff before their APs get "blocked" in early July.

Same thing goes for late August because those AP holders who have been blocked all summer will want to visit one last time before going back to school.

The least crowds of the summer last year were actually on July 4th, believe it or not. This year, any time in the middle of the week in July or early August should have manageable crowds and the hours will be the longest (DL: 8AM-12AM, DCA: 10AM-9/10PM)
