I was wondering the best time to go in October or November. I know that it is half term sometime in October but I am not sure when and we were worried that some of the attractions may be closed for rehab in November. We were hoping to go the first 2 weeks in September but I cannot get the dog in the usual kennels.

Thanks
Cazzie

Odd rides may be closed for refurbishment but that is all. When I have gone in February each time I think there has been one ride closed in Universal and perhaps one in Magic Kingdom. None of these refurbishments detracted from enjoying our holiday.

October and November are still in hurricane season. I have not had the kids holidays through yet but half term is usually the last or second last week in October. I would avoid this week. Also Halloween is a big thing over in America so again I would avoid going then.

Anyway, less of the thinking of another holiday in Orlando and more thinking about finishing your trip report. :rotfl:

:rotfl2: I did another two but both of them didn't show on the board so I have cleared my cookies now and hopefully when I do them again they will appear.

We both can't wait to go back which considering DH didn't want to go says it all about our holiday. :flower: I don't think I can wait until next year. :rotfl:

Hi Cazzie, I went last year for half term october and first week nov, couldn't get reasonable flights for that time this year even back in jan when i started to book, its s great time weather wise, little or no rain hot during the day and crowds are minimal, its true this is rehab time, last year blizzard beach was shut and this year typhoon lagoon is projected to be shut, will be going this year in november as its quiet ( except thanksgiving) and weather still good

Unfortunately, once is never enough. :)
