Best Time to Go in February 2022

This is when we always go. It depends. If it overlaps with Mardi Gras expect lots more crowds. Also, people tend to tack on a week after the princess marathon, which brings in more people.
I just want to go when it is a little warmer in florida.. we usually leave on a cruise out of ft lauderdale the 1st weekend of Feb and it always seems to be a little cool when we arrive.

Hi all,
I have not been following along too much with Disney news and how things are going in the parks for the past year. We're still under a stay-at-home order here in Ontario so the idea of going to Disney World still feels a very long way off, but I'm hoping we will be able to go in February 2022. I would like to go for my daughter's birthday which is February 20. I know this is right before President's Day and that's a busy time so we have never chosen that week in the past, but with the crappy year we've had missing family and all of our vacations being cancelled, we're thinking we might try for that time next year and just deal with the crowds. I'm wondering which week is generally more busy (on a normal year) - the week before President's Day, or the week of President's Day? We would choose either week to make it a bit less busy for us. Thanks!

the week of President's Day is a school holiday week for most of the Northeast. I would say that it will definitely be busier for that week.

Our last visit was late January 2020. The weather was chilly during the day and cold in the evening and fairly overcast all week. Not bad for the parks, but pretty dreary for swimming and sunning. But we were in WDW! pooh:

We have visited in February at various times. Late February was warmer if memory serves me, but more crowded. Early February when we visited during the first week on one trip was chilly in the evenings, but in the 70s and sunny during the day.

StarSeven, our previous trips have always ended on the Saturday before President's Day, and they're been great crowd-wise. The crowds pick up on Friday and Saturday before the holiday, just as we're leaving.

Flip a coin. February has nearly perfect westher, and crowds are low-ish. January is similar and a little less expensive.
