Best time to go between jan and march??

Ok --so I know this question has been asked a million times but we just got back from a wonderful trip the end of January and had really warm weather, even went to the pool, in the start of our trip. Then the cold front came in and it was freezing. So we got a little taste of what it could be like with warmer weather and would like to go when we can enjoy more pool time. When do you suggest with the lowest crowds??

Any time in January (after New Year's) through the first two weeks in February will have lower crowds. Starting the 3rd week in February through the end of April, someone is on school vacation so its more crowded then. Add to it that most colleges have a spring break sometime in March.

I've been the last week of February (our children's school vacation week) and have had wonderful weather some years and other years its been really cold all week. You never know that time of year.
