Will I have better luck if I call in the evenings or in the mornings? I am trying to get one more ADR, either Chef Mickey's or Cinderella's and NO luck, ofcourse it's free dining so it's no surprise. Anyways, I have been lucky with a few other ressies by just calling over and over again but these ones, no such luck! So anyone have better luck with calling in the morning or another time of day. I usually call in the evening, after DD is in bed and I can relax!!!!

Unfortunately I don't think it matters what time you call, but good luck on getting more reservations. Just keep calling! :goodvibes

I would call the first thing in the morning 7:00am.

I'm trying to make one for Chef Mickey's as well and have not been able to. We're going 9/17-21. I happened upon the Sept ADR "trade" thread (it's on this board, usually on the first page, might be on the second) and have posted what I'm looking for on there. Hopefully someone will have something they would like to get rid of and I'll get what I would like! Come on over and check it out!! Hopefully we'll both get lucky!!! In the mean time, I'm still calling at 7am before DH goes to work, when I get home from work about 2 and some time in the evening...I'm hoping they'll just get sick of me calling and make a table for me one of these days! :)

I just got off of the phone, and was able to switch 3 of my ADR's from 2 people to 3 in Sept. The CM was incredibly helpful. When I asked her what would be a good time to call and try to get other ADR's switched, she said, "Well it depends on when the cancellations are put into the computer" and when I said, "Oh do you think it would be good to call at 45 days out, when people have to have their final payment in" she said very hesitantly" I'd call in the morning. We open at 7 am" So I think that sounds like a hint!

We have a table for 2 at Chef Mickeys for dinner on 9/11, but I booked it at 180 days out. I do know from past experience, if you show up exactly when the restaurant opens, you stand a pretty good chance of getting seated!

I can tell ya this I DID call at 7am one day (on the weekend), and ended up waited on hold for over 20 minutes to get someone. Then remembered I had wanted to try for another restaurant at like 8am, called back and got right to a person on the phone with no waiting at all.

Before this I've called at around 4:30 to 5pm (est) when most people are on the commute home from work and also got right in.

Good luck with your ADR's!

I've been calling and calling too. When I called a few minutes ago the CM I spoke with said they have opened up Chef Mickey's for lunch during free dining and found me a couple of times to choose from.

Hope that helps. go call.

I'd call at the 7am mark about 45 days before the reservation and beyond that I'd call when it was convenient for me.

I have been calling after 2:00 CST and never have a wait at all:thumbsup2

I might have better luck at getting what I am still looking for if I call at 7 am, but I don't want to use my cell phone minutes sitting on hold!

I have called at various times throughout the day and I agree if you don't get the reservation that you want or the time, keep trying. Lots of cancellations out there. I have had positive experiences with some CMs, while others are of no help whatsoever or they are not knowledgeable. I am on the DxDDP and I had one CM that told me the only time I could get HDDR was at 9:30:confused3 and I called back and another CM told me that I could get a ressie for all showings :wizard: . Keep trying and best of luck.
