Best Time to Buy?

We will likely be purchasing approx 150 HHI points in the next 6 months. Is there a time of year that you are more likely to get a good deal or pass ROFR? I know the rule of thumb is that December is the best month to get a good deal on a car. Any similar rule of thumb for purchasing DVC?

The best time to buy is when you find the perfect contract at a low price. Perhaps around the time annual dues is due but in reality there is probably little difference in the exact time when to buy.
