Best Time for Harry Potter's Forbidden Journey

Depends on when you're going -- but unless you stay on site and have early entry, I've found that the highest crowds of the day are right when the park opens. End of the day tends to have the lightest crowds, aside from the early entry hour... at least as far as I've seen.

Yup, I totally agree. Unless I have early entry, I find the last hour of the day to be much nicer than at 9AM.

agree with the homies above.

to the op, avoid the weekends if you can.
they usually have more peeps in the parks.

weekdays, especially t-w-th are great for lower crowds.
but, if you are going during the summer, all bets are off.

How about spring break ;). We are going the week before Easter, we are onsite so have early entry (right?), but would probably like to ride multiple times. Do the crowds ever go down during spring break:scared1:? Never been to Orlando this time of year before, starting to get a little nervous:upsidedow.

since you will be onsite, use the early entry that is allowed.

you will be allowed in one hour before the general public at the official opening time.

check with the UO website to see park hours for your dates.
if the park opens at 8:00, be at the gate by 6:45 for a 7:00 opening for hotel guests.

go directly to parry hotter ville and ride FJ first.

you will be using the express lines for all but 4 rides at both parks total.
should not be any issue on time waits for rides.

the week before Easter will have crowds.

look at the cost of the epp for possible dates the week before Easter

https://secure.universalstudios.com/webstore/shop/ViewItems.aspx?CG=UO&C=IUEP

translates to large crowds..

came back to say the chart shifted on dates i pulled up.
in the box on the left hand side, above the dates/cost chart, put in the first date you will be in the parks.
the dates and prices will appear then below to refleck your inquiry.

what i saw was m-t-w had the studios for $39.99 with ioa at $49.99
thursday showed an increase for both parks on costs.

the higher the cost for epp, is an indicator of crowds.

I suggest using the single-rider queue for repeat rides. Wait times are typically MUCH less.

Is the single-rider issue the way to go without the early entry pass and on the flip-side, is the entire park open for early-entry or just Potterville?

I recommend single-rider for repeat rides only. In the SR queue you miss too much of the main queue, which should be enjoyed at least once.

Only WWoHP is open for early entry.
