Ok so just a quick questions for you guys when the best time to make dinner ressies last few time we went to disney we tried 530 but sometime that was just a little to early so were thinking maybe 630 what do you uys think what ur experience with dinner times????

We always opt for an early seating, usually 5pm as it gives us time to enjoy dinner without being rushed to eat allowing us plenty of time to get back to a park. We ate at 7pm once and by the time we finished with dinner there really wasn't enough time to get to the MK as it was closing at 9pm.

It really depends on a number of factors, What time you have eaten lunch, what time you are comfortable eating, what you want to do afterwards, what time the parks close. We went in August and tried to eat at 7pm which is similar to the time we normally eat. We were seated within 10 minutes each time and as the parks were generally open late had time for more activities after if we wanted.

Also,a BIG factor is whether or not you have young kids and their ages.

Most of our ADRs are in the 5 pm range. We're planning to go back to the resort for a nap/swim each day. Then we'll start the evening with dinner. The evenings will go as late as they go; typical bedtime right now for my youngest is 8 pm, but it always stretches a bit in summer. But a consistent 7 pm dinner reservation would be a problem for us.

We do a lot of EMH mornings, so we eat all our meals on the early side.

I just made our ADRs for August, and all dinners are between 5pm and 6pm.

I guess I am going against the majority here. In 2006, I made most of our ADRs between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. We hated it. In 2007, I made most of our ADRs between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. With the later times, we were able to tour the parks efficently and see everything we wanted. By the time our ADRs rolled around, we were ready to have a nice sit down meal and end our day.
