Best Time? December 7-11, 2004?

Hey! Just got back from a group trip to Disney World and we are ready to go again!
I have heard that the weeks after Thanksgiving until the week before Christmas are the best times to visit the parks. Little or no crowds and all the parks are decorated for Christmas!
Has anyone else been at this time? Please let me know!

I went the friday after thanksgiving to the following Saturday, It was very crowded the first weekend and buy wednesday it was very light, The first week in December was great, the weather wasnt great for swimming but did enjoy so much more in the parks due to the light crowds. I still say that that was my best trip, even though we had a lot of rain which is uncommon for December.

Find out what day they are taping the Christmas Parade (last year it was Dec. 5) at the Magic Kingdom, and STAY AWAY! While it was interesting to watch, the mass of people in the park afterwards was unbearable. We took off for MGM which was almost dead. Got right on the rides, and the whole stadium wasn't opened for Fantasmic as the crowd was small.

I've been to Disney different times of the year, and I think the time between Thanksgiving and the first week of Dec. is my favorite. It's so beautiful with all the decorations and Christmas spirit. And the crowds are smaller. We also enjoyed the Christmas Party. It's worth the money.
