So far I have a restaurant in every park but Magic Kingdom. What would everyone's favorite table service be in the park, that is not a signature. This can be either on the DDP or not, we are going to pay OOP for one place, and MK is the only park with haven't been able to choose a place to eat in. Thanks everyone!

We ate at both Liberty Tree Tavern and Tony's last week. Tony's was exactly as I've heard it described many times in reviews...low quality, fairly boring pasta dishes. We loved the food at LTT.

How was the service at LTT? I should have mentioned that I am a waitress, and like to have at least decent service. I am not crazy picky, but appreciate a good waiter/waitress.

I'd say Liberty Tree Tavern with the Plaza running a close second. Tony's is kinda like counter service food brought to your table for you and Cinderella's Royal Table is just a really expensive Princess encounter. My best suggestion would be to take a break from the park and hop on the monorail to one of the resorts.

Liberty Tree had originally been on our list, but I think it got thrown towards the back for some reason. Might have to take a second look. Thanks!

I went to Liberty Tree Tavern 2 weeks ago without much expectations and loved it. Its a traditional Thanksgiving dinner but everything is outstanding from the meats to the mac and cheese. i guarantee you will enjoy it. The service is good but the place has a natural slow pace to it. You wont regret going there.

We love Liberty Tree. Had great food and service when we ate there last December.

Ate at Tonys for lunch and service was ok but the food was not that good. Would not go back to Tonys.

I love Crystal Palace for the characters. We did th breakfast buffet and the food was very good. Server was good but had a lot of tables and was busy so was slow coming back to our table. Going there again this year for breakfast :).

It may depend on the time of year you're going. If the weather is going to be hot, LTT might be too heavy for you to enjoy. Otherwise it's a good choice.

That being said, we rarely eat at MK. We usually hop on the monorail and eat at Kona or O'hana.

Liberty Tree is quite delish. We always had great food and service there.

Plaza is fairly cheap and simple but quite tasty! They really do have the best fries!!!

Crystal Palace is pretty good. We enjoy it everytime we go. Great food selection, great atmosphere, and the characters are fun.

Tony's is absolutely the most disgusting meal i've ever had at disney EVER. Even if they offered a free meal, I would decline. It was THAT bad.

We ate at Tony's a few weeks ago and thought it was just ok. Anxious to try LTT next trip.

That you everyone for the tips :) I have not really heard good things about Tony's, so that would be a no I am guessing! lol Don't really care for crystal palace, we don't need the character meal. we are going to be 24 and 30, and not too interested in that kind of meal. Once the kids come ;)

We will be going in September. I know the crowds would typically be less, but it will most likely be during free dining, so I know restaurants tend to get busier too.

After eating at Crystal Palace on 4 different trips - we are DONE! The food was better than average but wound up spending over 2 hours from check in until we walked out the door. ADR was for 7:00 pm, checked in at 6:40, seated around 7:20 and finally walked out the door at 8:50 without seeing Pooh. The only reason we left then was after missing the parade, we didn't want to miss Wishes. This used to be my most favorite meal that I looked forward to but after last week - never again. Every other restaurant seems to have a good handle on the character rotation but CP has never gotten that under control any of the times we have eaten there.

Yeah, we just have no interest. This will be filled with kids. Which, yes, I know all of Disney is, but there are some more adult styles restaurants where we won't feel kid crazy like we would at a character meal.

What are the easiest restaurants to be able to get to from just hopping on the monorail from MK? I have only ridden on the monorail once! So I am a rookie at all this.

The easiest I think would be the poly....Ohana dinner & Kona are both great options.

You also have GF cafe....and whispering canyon at Wilderness Lodge (boat ride).

Service was fine at LTT...nothing special, but not slow, either. I think we had a 5:25 reservation and we were out within an hour. We had enough time to wait in line to see Tiana and Naveen and then get a good spot in Liberty Square for the parade at 8:00.

The server at Tony's (which I see you've already ruled out) was really, really slooooooow. I finally took the kids out to the lobby to watch Lady & The Tramp on the TV while my husband waited for the bill.

If you are going to leave the park, I would also suggest the Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge. We stayed at WL and the boat ride to and from the MK is so fast, and it's fun to do something different. It will take you less than 10 minutes to get from MK to WL via boat.

MK sit down in the following order
1.The Plaza
2.LTT
3.Tony's
4.The castle
5.Crystal Palace ( I hate buffets )

Oh that could be fun with the boat ride! Thank you for the tip :)

Thank you! Yes, the only buffet we want to do is the Boma breakfast buffet.

Is this for your September trip next year or another trip?

Reason I ask is I'm going November next year and looking forward to the new Be Our Guest table service dinner (I'm a HUGE belle and beast fan!)

I think it might include some animatronix (spelling :confused3) characters and looks like it'll be nice....no clue yet as it doesn't open til spring next year I believe.

When are you getting married? We are planning on getting married september too, but we're doing vegas for a short honeymoon :lovestruc

Yes, this will be for our trip in September of next year. Where do you hear about these new table service meals being offered?

I am getting married in June, then taking a short New Hampshire trip, then our official honeymoon in September
