What type of foods do you and your DD's like? Are they/you picky? There are many options at DTD and DTD Westside to choose from. We have eaten at Portabello's Yacht Club before which is an Italian style restaurant and for our next trip we have ADRs for Fulton's Crabhouse which is seafood (Fulton's is a signature, 2 credit restaurant, if you are on the dining plan). If you want a fun atmosphere with burgers and such, then Rainforest Cafe would be good for your DD's ages. If your girls are into Dinosaurs, there is always T-Rex which is like RC, but with Dinosaurs (obviously). We really don't eat at many TS restaurants at DTD so I can't comment on how they are. Now if you are looking for QS, then I would highly recommend Earl of Sandwich .
Given the ages, I would have to agree with the recommendations of Rainforest or T-Rex. Fulton is a little iffy, imo, and is often really packed and noisy. I also go by the rule that 90% of kids at Disney will gripe about eating fish! Your mileage may vary
At least Rainforest has the decor and forest noises to soothe you a bit, and the gift shop keeps the kids distracted while you wait for seating (if necessary). I adored the Rainforest cafe whenever we came to Disney when I was younger
IMO, my favorite sit-down at Downtown Disney is the Wolfgang Puck cafe, but I rarely see kids in there...(save for the occasional 3 or 4 year old with their parents, rarely bigger families). The food is great mix of pizza, pasta, asian, american, and comes very stylized & cool-looking. I don't see why kids wouldn't be okay there with the wide-range of options, but considering we don't have kids yet and i've never seen multi-kid families in there, I must be missing something!
