i'm a planner just like all you guys out there, i make all my p.s.'s 90 days and i plan every detail but there is always the unexpected hunger pains, so what great find did you find?
my list...
1) kona cafe's pork sandwich(still can't find anything to compare)
2) turkey leg
3)zebra desserts akl food court
:goodvibes
yummy...

Spicy pretzel at lunching pad... yummmm!!!!

two words.

funnel cake.

ive never had it before, until my last trip last summer. Got some at MK. it was AMAZING. Got the works, with the strawberries, sugar powder and chocolate. WOW.

Taco Salad at Perita y El Perico in Magic Kingdom. Maybe it's because I was hungry but this was the best taco salad I've ever eaten!

Best item from an unplanned meal:

The Grand Sandwich at the Grand Floridian Cafe. It may be worth an out of the way visit next time.

I would say my biggest surprise was the Tuna sandwich at the food court at PO Riverside.I was there last May and had it 3 times..but it was exactly how I LIKE my tuna-white tuna, onion, celery and mayo..on whole grain bread..may not be everybody's choice, but I loved it.

Downtown Disney, Portabella Yacht Club - the BEST linguine with clams that I've ever had. Been there twice, both times everyone's food and service was fantastic. Warning, it's expensive, but worth it

I know this sounds weird but I have tried them at other places and they don't compare
Concourse Steakhouse-Garlic Mashed Potatoes
and Ohana's pineapple and caramel

I'm hungry after reading this thread. My list:
1. my kids love the *crown* ice cream sundae in UK. We go late afternoon and the kids order an ice cream so we can order a drink. Very nice.
2. we love the hummus and tomato sandwich at Columbia Harbour house. And hubby loves the chowder. Always a nice treat. And you can buy fruit right outside then sit at those nice tables and have a wonderful lunch.
3. the burgers at ESPN--always very yummy.
4. the restaurant in morocco. The menu doesn't seem that exciting when you read it, but we always leave full and happy. Maybe it's the ambiance.
5. the pulled pork at Whispering Canyon Cafe
6. the wings and salad at Ohana's
7. flame tree bbq--the smell always hooks me when I walk by and I have to have bbq
8. anything at earl of sandwich (but how many calories are in that bread??)

The terryaki platter at counter service in Japan, sorry can't remember the name. The smell and taste just blew me away. Oh, strawberry mousse from the French patisserie too. So creamy yet fresh fruit tasting, an absolute delight. Eating your way around World Showcase is the way to go.. yum, yum!
