Best Stroller for WDW (not rentals)

Shopping for a reasonably priced stroller (hoping to find one at a consignment shop). What brand/model have you found works well at WDW?

I love my Peg Plinko P3. A lot of people love the City Mini's. If you can find a stroller second hand that will save you some money over buying new.

I would figure out what features you want (large canopy, adjustable handles, snack tray, etc). Also check weight and height of your child and what the stroller will hold. Don't forget Craigslist or other places you might find one.

You could even take your child out to a baby store and try some different strollers out and see what you like and narrow your search that way. When I bought mine everyone was raving about the Maclaren strollers but when my niece sat in it, I didn't like the way her shoulders rolled in. Didn't look comfy to me, so we looked at other brands.

We bought a Baby Jogger City Elite and it worked great for us! Not too large, easy to fold and very easy to maneuver.

We have a City Mini and we bought it used for $100. Best $100 ever spent.

I really researched this when taking our youngest to Disney at 12 weeks old. City mini was the number one recommended that I saw so I bought it. Best money ever spent! We went again in Oct and she was 15 months...still loved it! We will be taking her on her 3rd trip this year. I ordered the 4 wheel city mini because my husband really preferred 4 wheels over 3. It's so easy to hold the child and grab the strap with one hand to fold for bus/ trains. It folds pretty flat too! Not to mention it has a huge sun shade and basket!

Everyone raves about the citymini, but that also means that there is a glut of them at the parks. And its hard to tell your black city from another person's black city. Check out the Britax - I love mine. I also have a Summer stroller that has a huge canopy. My one problem with it is the tight straps. I'm going to do a little sewing to adjust the placement of the center strap. But my son is also 3, and it capable of sitting in it and not needing straps.

One thing to consider with both citys and Britax is that the things like cupholders and tray tables are sold separately. So that is more cost for you. And umbrellas have no tray tables. Consider it carefully. I found that BuyBuyBaby has a great selection of strollers that you can try out with your kid. Bring them with you to the store and have them sit in them to figure out how they will fit in it and if it's easy for you to use. And if you can fold it and lift it yourself, then don't get it. That was a big criteria for me.

It's like getting a car, you have to really think about what you are buying and make sure you are getting the best deal and the best stroller for your needs.

We love our Peg Perego Si. The only downside is the cup holder is on the side and it comes off easily. I would say this stroller really works best for older kids, 2 and up, better. Easy to get in and out, lays almost flat very easily. When sitting up, the canopy covers almost the entire body. Has a great sling under the stroller. Folds very quick and easily, and has a handle to carry. wonderful suspension and smooth to push around. We bought for $70 at a consignment sale, was the best purchase as we have taken to WDW and all over for 3 years now.
We have seen the city mini and I would have considered it if we hadn't gotten the Peg. It is another great option.

Everyone seems to love the citi mini. I hate it. It doesn't come with any trays or consoles which is a must for me. We all constantly have drinks in the park and need somewhere to put them. Also, the kids will be eating lunch or a snack in the stroller while watching parades. Trays make that a lot easier. The ones you can buy and attach aren't reliable enough.

We've loved our Combi the best. Folds really compact so it takes up less space in the room, is lightweight with a carry strap, and has a cupholder for the child.

We loved our Combi Sport twin (we needed a double) but even the double was light, easy to store and folded really compactly for a double. It wasn't ridiculously expensive, either.

Forgot to say that the Britax B-Agile is so close to the City Mini that it may work for you http://www.albeebaby.com/britax-b-agile.html I like that the fabric doesn't go around the frame on the stroller. I don't own the City Mini so I can't say if it gets worn along the frame or not. Also think I recall that you can lift up the fabric near child's foot and access the basket underneath.

The Britax holds an extra 5 lbs and has a 2 year warranty.

Here is a City Mini to compare with http://www.albeebaby.com/baby-jogger-city-mini-single-crimson-gray.html I noticed that if you don't care about color and that it has 4 wheels instead of 3 you can get the sandstone one for less than this one. The 4 wheel version holds 65 lbs. That's 15 lbs more than the 3 wheel version and 10 lbs more than the Britax.

We don't own a "fancy" stroller. We have a Jeep Cherokee one by Kolcraft (It's like the Kolcraft Cloud on Amazon) and a First Years Ignite. We'll bring one of them to Disney with us this year. The Jeep/Kolcraft one has one hand fold and it stands up while folded, a parent tray with 2 cup holders, and a kid tray that pops off, and a decent sized basket. It has a big sunshade and my daughter says it's super comfy. You could order it and have it shipped to your resort, if you don't need it at home. The one "Fault" of the Kolcraft one is that you HAVE to recline the seat back to close it, or the seat back will bend wrong. It's in the directions, but by the number of people complaining about the seat back "breaking" in reviews, I'm guessing they didn't read them. It's between $50-65 on Amazon and Walmart.com.

I love the Ignite, but they don't make them anymore. It's similar to the Chicco I saw at Target the other day, though.

I got a citi mini and just bought the tray that goes with it. It's been great for Disney trips. I got the one with four wheels, not three, not so many people have that one so it's easy to spot.
