We don't want to use FP but I also don't want to have to sit on a curb for 2 hours to claim my spot. We will have a 8, 6, & 4 yo's with us and we'd like to see MSEP, tink fly, wishes and FW (I know, demanding!!! :lmao: ). What's our best strategy to accomplish all this? Or am I dreaming ;) We are going the first week of May.

See MSEP in Frontierland, then move to the Hub for Wishes. Skip FP for both unless you have one available, then choose it for MSEP only.

Thanks mesaboy. About what time should we be by Frontierland to ensure we get a good spot?

How swamped is it going to be in the Hub/Main St. area prior to wishes on a MK crowd level 5 day? Is it feasible to FP+ MSEP and then walk down towards the bottom of the Hub or onto Main St as Robo has suggested, or is it going to be too crowded to really get anywhere? Is FP+ both overkill? Would we be better off skipping FP+ completely and trying to find a decent spot for both towards the bottom of the Hub/Main St. about a half hour prior to MSEP?

We have a similar situation as the OP, and while we'd obviously like be able to see it all, it isn't critical that we have the absolute best viewing- I'm sure seeing 80% of Wishes will still be spectacular for the kiddo's.

Thanks for any opinions!

We tried this last year and it did not work for us. We could only get into the corner of the hub by one of those buildings and got trapped. It was a Sunday night mid May last year.

In December, I used a FP+ for MSEP and then stayed at the same spot to watch Wishes. I thought we had a good view for everything.

If there are two runnings of the MSEP that night and you can stay up later, I'd do Wishes first THEN catch the second showing of the parade (and the castle projection show).

This is my concern- using a FP+ for MSEP (or watching in Frontierland) and then walking down into the Hub/Main St. for Wishes sounds like a good plan, but not sure how it works out. Mid May is usually a relatively slow time too, not encouraging that you weren't able to make it work.

If you sit/stand near Charming's carousel behind the castle, you can see Tink fly and have an AMAZING spot for fireworks. Just make sure you can see Tink's wire.

Another really good spot is on the bridge to Tomorrowland from the hub. There is a small seating area just behind the Tomorrowland sign

If we were to watch the second parade, won't our spot for wishes would already be taken by the people who are staying from the first parade?
Is it possible to do the desert party and get a good spot for the second parade?

i booked fp for both the parade and wishes. ( we are just going at night to see these after dinner so not wasting any fp) i know the area is in two different spots...or do you advise just staying in parade area and watching wishes? i hate waiting 2 hours before parades as well.... thanks for any advice!

Can someone tell me where the spots are that you view from for the fastpasses for Wishes and MSEP ?

Thank :thumbsup2 So which viewing area do you think is best and can you stay at the MSEP fastpass spot for Wishes also ?

MSEP is the better viewing area, and you can stay there for Wishes. However, it is a little close to the castle, which will obstruct some of the fireworks.

We just used a FP for MSEP last week on a crowd level 6 day. It worked out pretty great. Got there about 8:20 to wait in a short line to get into the roped off area. Sat front center right in front of castle. There was plenty of room for more people in this area when parade started so we could have waited till closer to 9 to get in. We stayed in this area for the projection show and fireworks. It filled in with people quickly after the parade was done so I am not sure how easy it would be to change locations at this time with the heavy traffic and all. Some of the fireworks were obstructed by the castle but it was not a huge deal. I also thought exiting the park was going to be a nightmare but the kids had already passed out in the stroller and my husband navigated that thing out relatively easy. So Iong story short I would do the FP again!

So after the parade did the crowds move in front of you or try to take over the space ? Did you have chairs to sit in during the parade ?

Was it a good spot to view Tink?

Counting down to 14th May!
