Best strategy for getting two FP+ together (7DMT)

We have the following FP+ on our first MK day...

12:30 - 1:30 - 7DMT (girl)

12:55 - 1:55 - Tomorrowland Speedway (boy & husband)

1:55 - 2:55 - Space Mountain (all)

2:55 - 3:55 - Jungle Cruise (all)

6:00 - 7:00 - 7DMT (me)

There was only one FP+ available at 12:30, so I figured I would grab it now and keep trying to change the time for the 6:00 FP. No luck yet but I am checking often. If I can't get another one, can my 9-year old ride alone? She probably would. Any other suggestions for trying to get two together?

Oh and also... we have a 6:50 dinner @ Kona, so the evening FP+ is useless. I initially grabbed two at that time, intending to switch times later.

Just keep trying to change the time. Hopefully you will be able to get something that overlaps the earlier Mine Train. We just went through this for a FP+ for tomorrow and I was finally able to change it yesterday. It's a bit of a pain, but it doesn't take much time to check.

That's what I was thinking - as long as it overlaps it will be ok! Does anyone know if my 9 year old can ride alone if I don't get another one?

No problem, it is not a very scary ride and I doubt a CM would object.

Children 7 years of age and older are allowed to ride alone.

I was able to switch the evening one. We now have 10:55-11:55 and 12:30-1:30. LOL! No overlap, but we are getting closer.
