Best strategy for adding one diner

I have a table for 2 booked at 7:40 p.m. for Spice Road Table at Epcot. My teenage son now wants to join us for dinner but it is a no go even when I call Disney dining. I figure I could try at the 24 hour mark or just bring him with us that night and beg for mercy. Any thoughts ?

Try setting up an ADR finder. Something will probably open up. If not, can't hurt to bring him along and see if they can accomodate.
