I have been just enough that I am biased about "Best" or "Favorite" snacks around WDW. I am going with a first timer however and was wondering what everyone tells Friends, visiting for the first time, the 1 MUST HAVE snack would be?

In the Main Street confectionary, they sell bags of Rice Krispie treats. Instead of shaped like characters, these ones are just little round balls of marshmallow, Rice Krispie goodness. Unlike the shaped ones, I'm fairly certain these ones are house made and they're fantastic!

I also like...
  • popcorn (good for watching parades!)
  • the mickey ice cream sandwich
  • dole whips- I prefer pineapple dole over pineapple juice!
  • anything from les halles bakery

Mickey ice cream bars are unique and my kids always ask for them. Besides that, Dole Whips are also a Disney staple.

Two words: TURKEY LEG.
I believe they're around $10 a piece now, but they're large enough to easily feed 2-3 people, and they're insanely good!

The vanilla swirled Dole Whip is awesome too!

Don't like the Dole Whips, I know shoot me now. I like the ice cream in France and just about anything in WS in Epcot. Otherwise, we don't get snacks that often.

I love the Citrus Swirl at Sunshine Tree Terrace! I feel like it's underrated! I prefer it to a Dole Whip! <Don't Kill me>

Mickey Ice Cream Bar, Goofy Sour Cherry Balls, and for something different on a hot day Kakigori in Epcot

  • Mickey Ice Cream Bar
  • Swirl Cone in Fantasyland
  • Minnie's Bake Shop Cookies
  • Chip and Dales Pretzels (packages of them - so much better than regular pretzels! We buy bags and bags to take home!)
  • Pumpkin Funnel Cake at Epcot
  • Cupcakes at Starring Rolls (Hollywood Studios)
  • Treasure Island sundae at Ghirardelli in Disney Springs
  • Karamell Kuche in Epcot - anything

Bread pudding at Tambu Lounge at the Polynesian is my all time favorite Disney food. In the parks I think a great snack is the nutella fruit waffle sandwich at Sleepy Hollow in MK. I used to love Dole Whip (think more sorbet than creamy ice cream) but got burned out on it. Still... if only one thing, Ohana's bread pudding is my ultimate weakness. I've been eating that stuff pretty much weekly for a few years and I still love it :cloud9:
