Best site for rv plus tent

Just booked another week for next year and will be bringing our 34 ft travel trailer, doubleslide. We plan to pitch a 10x20 tent behind the rv and are wondering what type site offers the most soft sand with ample enough pad. From what we can tell, the premiums may not have enough sand for a tent, the full hook ups have crushed shell in the back (uncomfortable for tents??) and the preferred might be the answer as they are described as having sand behind the pad. Can anyone help us out on what to look for? Recommendations for loops and sites are most appreciated!

I use the term "sand pad" to describe the designated non-pavement spots for tents on the Full, Preferred, and Tent sites. But technically it's not sand, it's a crushed shell product call coquina which is actually pretty good as a tent base. It drains relatively well but like any ground product, it sticks to shoes and feet so it gets tracked inside tents and trailers unless you have a strict outside shoe plan. But I often don't use the word "coquina" because I end up having to explain what it is. Personally I have no problem with the coquina. (we have a shoe plan).

10x20 is a LONG tent so you will definitely want to get that size put on your reservation because that size won't fit on many pads in my estimation.

There are Full sites with big pads. And Full sites with small pads.
There are Preferred sites with big pads. And Preferred sites with small pads.
Premium sites have no pads.

If you specify the length of your trailer and the size of your tent on your reservation, you should be assigned a site to accommodate both.
