Ok, need a little help! Well actually a lot! :rotfl2: But, I am looking for the all around best Signature place! Since we are from the Midwest I really am looking for some great seafood for my husband. Maybe a lobster or a surf and turf? I would have to say I am looking for a great Filet, so please bring on the best of both worlds!!:goodvibes

PS we are on the Deluxe Dining..

Thanks for all the information!

Narcoosee's is DIVINE! Great seafood and the surf anf turf is my son's fave. Try to go around the time of MK fireworks too. This is a great restaurant. Oh and if you are celebrating anything, make sure they know. You will be in for a nice surprise when you are seated. ;)

Thanks for the Reply, I have reservations for them at 745 pm (NOV 29) but I have been reading everyone saying that it was not very good..they said that the surf and turf was horrible.. oh great, just made it more confusing.. thanks for the informaiton. Also, what is the dress code? can we go straight from the parks?

Narcoosees is the only place at WDW that serves a surf and turf with lobster so if that's what you want; you will have to go there. Personally, it's my least favorite of Disney's signatures.

If you are on the dining plan, I think Flying Fish has the best food. Jiko and Citricos are both overall very good dining experiences with good food and a better chance of a quiet meal.

If you are not on the dining plan, bluezoo at the Dolphin has the best fish/seafood and blows away the Disney restaurants.

As others have said in other threads, you have to take everything you read on the boards with a grain of salt. For every positive review you can find a negative review. You have to experience things for yourself.

With that being said Narcoossee's is nice for the best of both worlds. You can also do Yachtmen Steakhouse one night and Flying Fish for a second night if you have the time for both. Both are very good.

We had wonderful seafood at Narcooses' in November altough we didn't have the surf and turf and we are kind of picky about seafood after spending summers on Cape Cod. We didn't try the lobster but the muscles and my fish (I can't remember which kind) was terrific!!!! My DS#1 had a steak which was delicious.

We are trying Flying Fish on this trip so I'll let you know how it is - but I have heard its awesome.

We've also had great seafood at Cali Grill and Jiko.

Narcoossees and CItrico's have the best filet IMO. My husbands loves surf n turf at Narcoossees!

Great thanks for the information... then we are sticking with Narcoosses! By the way, whats the dress code? can we go straight from the parks?

I had an outstanding meal at California Grill last week with friends. The service was great and food amazing. I can't recommend it enough.

I also thoroughly enjoy Narcoossee's and Jiko.

Narcoossee's was our favorite meal last trip (we had 21 TS meals that trip so we ate at a lot of places). DH had surf and turf and loved it! I had the whole lobster and it was also wonderful. Also, if you like cheesecake, try the almond crusted cheesecake while you are there...it is fabulous!

The very best seafood (as Pakey suggests) is at Blue Zoo. Of the actual Disney restaurants, it's Flying Fish.
But the very best Surf and Turf is at Shula's--blows away what they have at Narcoossee's.

Dress code at all the Signatures is the same--just no swimwear, torn clothes, tank tops on men, or T-shirts with "offensive" wording or graphics.

Sure you can. Just no cut offs, tank tops etc. I usually wear a sundress or nice shorts and top and hubby usually wears a polo and khacki shorts or something like that. We have NEVER gone back to change before going to dinner anywhere so you should be fine.

Oh and if you are celebrating anything, make sue you call dining and let them know. Narcoosee's will have a great surprise waiting for you!

Take a look at the food pix. They are a valuable asset for planning.

I am a commercial spearfisherman and a foodie. The worst kind of fish snob imagineable and I would eat at FF,Teppan Edo or Coral Reef for seafood.

V & A has the best seafood dishes in WDW.
