Best shops around Orlando

What exactly are the best shops or 'malls' as the Americans call them?! We are planning to do some shopping while we are in Florida.

Depends on what you're looking for to be honest, myself, I prefer the Premium Outlets at the southern end of i-drive, it has Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Levi, Burberry, Nike, Adidas, Banana Republic, etc, etc. Prices are amazing in comparison with UK prices, and I usually stock up whenever I'm in Orlando.

If you're wanting a more 'American' experience, Mall at Millenia is good, the savings aren't as obvious as at the Outlets, but cheaper than what we're used to over here. Haven't visited the Florida Mall myself, but that gets a good write-up so I may have to make an effort when I go in August. There are further outlets at the north end of the i-drive, and also Festival Bay, but not sure I'd recommend a special trip up there as I don't think either are fully established as yet.

We normally have a drive to Florida Mall - Dillards, Gap, Sears etc

This year we are trying Mall at Millenia - but I'm not a big shopper.

The best malls IMHO are:

Discount Outlet Mall : Prime Outlet at the top end of I Drive

General Shopping Mall: Florida Mall or for a quieter shop - Altamonte Mall

Up Market Shopping: Mall at the Millennia

Florida Mall is definitely the best as far as we are concerned, they seem to have something for everyone. Designer boutiques, department stores and much more. The foodcourt is fantastic also. Although Mall at Millenia is a lovely place, it is very upmarket for the likes of us. Premium outlets is not too bad either.

I like Premium Outlets but plan on giving Prime Outlets a go next time - a lot of it still wasn't open when we last went. As NannyJ said too the FLorida Mall is a good all rounder, Mall at Millenia is expensive! There are quite a lot of designer brands there but it is a very nice place to have a wander round and mooch. I like to go into Tiffany here and dream of 5 carat diamonds!

We loved Florida Mall too. Went to Festival Bay and thought that was awful, hardly any shops in there.
