I need to get new gym shoes before my trip. I looking for some advice from the experts :flower: What do you think is the best women's gym shoe? I've bought two different pair. I'm going to wear them around the house to see which feels better. Maybe after your advice I'll take both of them back :flower:

I myself love skechers. They are super comfortable I work on a cement floor for 9 hours a day and when I wear those Im good to go. Same with at Disneyworld I wear those and I am good. Just remember to break them in before you go. Nothing is worse than blisters at Disneyworld.

I wore skerchers the whole 8 days and my feet felt great. I wore them in the carpeted gym for a week first so I could make sure they didn't hurt anywhere and could still return them if they did hurt.

I like Adidas and New Balance. If I had to choose, I would pick the New Balance since I seem to have more toe room, and they are very comfortable even after wearing them all day.

I love my Rykas! This company makes she specifically for women. I have never had a pair of shoes feel so good right out of the box.

New Balance are awesome!! By the way, the higher the style #, the better the shoe (padding, fit, etc.) I usually buy something in the 800's, which cost in the $75 range. This is sort of confusing, but you will understand what I mean when you look at the shoes. By the way, Asics are good, too, but once again, don't get cheap ones. They also run a half-size to a full size small. I usually wear a 9 1/2 women's), and I have to wear a 10, or a men's 8 1/2 in Asics.

Darn no one is metioning the two pair I bought! :rotfl2: Any opinions about Nike Air Monarch III or Asics GT-2100?

Another good PARK shoe is the SOLOMONs' water shoe great confort .Mesh like keep feet cool .and have a convertable heal that you can push down and wear as a mule type shoe.

The best ones are high quality running shoes with support that fit your foot.

Everyone has different feet. For me it's Asics. For my wife it's Asics mens also, as they fit her wider feet well.

My advice woud be to go to a specialty running shoe store if there is one near you (not foot locker, but wherever marthon runners go in your area).

When I went to a good running shoe store, the fitter actually took me out in the parking lot to see how I walked and ran before suggesting shoes. Depending on how your foot hits the pavement, they can suggest different shoes with different support.

If this is not possible, pick a pair that is very comfortable from the start, with good cushion. You should NOT have to break in a good pair of running shoes.

I mentioned Asics!!! I really like them. Personally, I like the Kayano, but at $130.00 a pop...I've only had one pair, and I got those on sale. Oh, and I wore them for about 5 years...they were like bedroom shoes before I finally got rid of them!!

I like SOME Nike's...they don't tend to be as cushioned as New Balance and Asics.

Has anyone tried Nike Shox? I was thinking about trying some of those. My kids have them and love them.

I swear by New Balance. I have some problems with my feet as well as having wide feet but I can put a pair of New Balance on and start walking in them without having a problem at all. I *do break them in, I bought my new pair about 6 weeks ago in preparation for next week, but I bet I could buy a new pair and head to MK tomorrow and not have a problem. I wouldn't recommend doing that, btw. LOL

Have a wider foot, like the New Balance; recently bought an all leather walking shoe made by Reebok for half the price - seem to be working out.

Don't care for Nikes & Sketchers have too thick of a sole for me, kill my feet. Starting to re-think my Crocs (have Nile & Beach)...actually think they're stretching in width - feet are starting to slip around in the shoes:confused3 .

New Balance...with so many styles and the fact that they make shoes FOR women (not just men's shoes with different colors) you're bound to find a comfy pair. I'm a hard to fit 5 1/2 wide and I have a pair of New Balance that I LOVE.

Other than sneakers I also like my Tevas for Disney. Especially the Tevas with arch support. Comfy, comfy and dry out quick after the water rides.

For tennies, I love my Avias. I can't remember which style, but I know they're specifically for walking. When it comes to sandals or flip-flops, it's all about the Tevas!
I wear Crocs to work, but I've never tried them for long walks. They'll probably go with me to WDW in January, but I'm not sure if they'll be able to hold up all day.

I love my Sauconys! They have a very flexible sole. I have some NB and found them to be very stiff even after wearing them for a year. I also love love love Adidas.

But like everyone said, everyones foot is different. Good luck!
