Beware that everyone's foot is different and what works will be different.

I swear by a broken in pair of good walking sneakers. I have a high arch and need the support and would never survive in flip flops.

You really need to find what is comfortable and fits you the best.

Venice H2 or Newport H2 for me. They both have similar tread patters. The Venice H2 runs cooler because it has a different strap design. Great shoes! Just don't show up with black sneakers or sandals in the summer.

I also have plantar fasciitis. I have purchased lots of shoes over the years for our Disney trips....Merrells, Birkenstocks, Tevas, Reefs, and Nike t-shoes (with inserts from dr.) and my feet still hurt while at Disney. I also wear moisture wicking socks with my t-shoes. I would love some shoes that don't cause my feet some much pain.
