Need help quick - no time to look thru all 18 pages of the best off-site restaurant thread. We are looking for an awesome seafood restaurant in the Dis area or near Cocoa Beach - preferably not a chain restaurant like Red Lobster since we have that here. :) TIA for any help! :)

Hands down, Flying Fish at Boardwalk...expensive but great.

Other fresh seafood that we love at lower price is Shells...take 192 east from Disney about 7 miles...on the left with a rainbow fish sign...it is really good...worth the trip

Enjoy...Ted

Another expensive but great choice is Fulton's Crab House. The Fried Calamari and the Alaskan King Crab Claws are to die for. Since these are the only things I order every time I go I can't comment on the other dishes they serve.

I am trying Flying Fish in a couple of weeks for the first time. I am looking forward to it since there have been so many great reviews for it.

Bone Fish Grill, over on Sand Lake Road, just west of Turkey Lake Rd./Palm Parkway. Technically part of a chain (as is the also good Shell's), but you'd never know it.

It was really good not sure if it is a chain I know there was talk of one near Kennedy. We went to Dixie Crossroads in a mall on I Drive. It was really good and we all loved it. Tried some different types of seafood.

i'll second the dixie crossroads. it is located in titusville, just up the road from cocoa beach

We ate at the one on I-Drive on January and it was great. Had to try it after my brother and sis-in-law raved about the original one in Titusville!!

I believe their website is: dixiecrossroads.com

HTH!!! :teeth:
