Best Sandals?

I already have two pairs of sneakers I wear to the parks with jeans, shorts, etc. However, i'd like to start wearing more dresses and skirts type outfits, but have been holding back for lack of shoes that work.

At home I just wear flip flops but obviously those don't fly in the World. I'm looking for a cute (i.e., not clunky) sandal that will look good with a dress or skirt, and not leave me in tears by the end of the day.

The last time we were there I was keeping an eye out for ladies in that style of dress to see what shoes they were wearing, but mostly it was flips or heels.

I only wear dresses to the parks and I love my Teva Kayenta sandals. They're a sport sandal so they're comfortable enough for hours of walking but I think they look feminine enough to wear with a dress or skirt. I love them so much I bought them in 4 different colors.

Yeap, those are definitely cute enough to wear with dresses! Love that you posted pictures because most of the teva sandals I have seen aren't as girlie as I would personanally want.

I totally agree with Penquinempress. I love my Teva Kayentas! I also have multiple pairs. They are super cute and super comfy. I always wear them every day when I go to Disney and have never had a problem with hurting feet. Check out discount shoe sites (6pm, even Amazon) as you can usually get them cheaper than buying directly from Teva. And they are true to size - I wear a size 6 - buy a size 6 - fit perfect!
I tried to post a pic of them in brown, no luck. Sorry, but they are a great sandal!

I tend to wear dresses and skirts at WDW. Many of them look cute with a pair of Keds style lace ups (without socks) or slip on shoes. I try to to have 1-2 shoe options for each outfit I wear at WDW.

I had a cute pair of sandals that got super wet and caused a blister. The sandals were not wearable for a couple of days until they dried and one other pair hit irritated the blister so I could not wear. Luckily that trip I actually took 4 pair of shoes/sandals instead of my normal 2-3 pair. (Though one outfit did not get worn due to not having a pair of shoes that looked okay with it.)

I like my Teva Verras (less clunky than the Tiras and a softer footbed) and Kamik Mustiques (but they aren't for rainy days).

I just bought a pair of Birkenstocks as I read on a few sites that they are good for long periods of walking. But I also read you need to break them in thoroughly before wearing them for a long time.

I tried on the Tevas and I just didn't like them...they weren't my style. They look cute in the photos above but I didn't think they looked cute on me...

I wore skirts and sundresses during our trip in January/February this year, and I wore a pair of Birkenstock Gizeh sandals. They are a very cute thong style of sandal. While they did require a little bit of breaking in before we went, they were very comfy and gave lots of arch support and worked well for all-day-in-the-park days. No blisters, and no sore achy feet.

I bought a pair of Abeo sandals to wear. I was really worried how my feet would feel and I was really happy. We were there when it was really, really raining and they would dry overnight and be just fine the next morning. I wore them every day for 7 days and then wore sneakers on our last day and I was much happier in the sandals.

I wear my Sanuk yoga flip flops and they are the best sandals I have ever owned! I easily wear them all day at theme parks and they come in a variety of colors so they're super cute. Theres a Sanuk store in DS but I buy mine at Macy's or Amazon for a savings

i have very sensitive feet.
my friend always says i'm like the princess and the pea when it comes to shoes.

i try not to wear sandals more than one day on my disney trips because i just find that no matter how comfy it is my sneakers are always beeter.

but when i do wear sandals in the park or at home i wear grasshoppers brand.
they aren't the most stylish but they also aren't old lady looking either.
i get compliments on them a lot during the summer.
they are very cushioning which is exactly what my feet need.

this is similar to the pairs i currently have.
(btw they start out at $50 but i tend to buy during winter when the previous summer's sandals are deeply discounted. i think i bought a pair of tan and black for $16 each back in february)

I have 2 pair of waterproof Keen Whispers. They are a lot less clunky than the bigger Venice, more like a biking style sandal, and they come in cute colors. They dry fast and don't blister and they have the toe piece that keeps my kids from killing my feet if they walk over them. They still aren't super cute, but they look great with my activewear skorts and hiking skorts.

If we're just going for dinner and few rides, I swear by my Teva Olowahu thongs. Kind of like the Mush flipflops, but dressier, with cute ribbon style crosspieces.
