Cafe Orleans has a delicious house salad with mixed baby greens, goat cheese, cherry tomatoes, pecans, etc. Its really reasonably priced too if I remember.
There's a great salmon salad at the little shack place across from HM. I love the salads at Pacific Wharf in DCA, as others have said. I like to order the bread bowl on the side. I take the extra bread with me for later!
Oh, and I forgot to second ImDMous's recommendation. I too love the Greek salad in DCA at Paradise Garden Grill!

If you're referring to Harbour Galley they redid their menu in Summer 2013 and removed the salmon salad. They have a shrimp salad with bacon that is basically a Cobb salad, though they call it something else.

Pacific Wharf at DCA. The Boudin Sourdough Bakery has an awesome Chinese Chicken salad in a sourdough bread bowl!! Ask for butter to go with your bread and you've got a meal!! I look forward to it every time I go. They also serve other salads and soups in the bread bowls too.
Yea, I liked it too. I did try the shrimp baked potato and it was just ok. But then I thought about it, and maybe I don't want shrimp, salmon or lobster (they have a $15 lobster roll) from a DL CS that doesn't appear to have it's own kitchen. I got a salmon Caesar at La Brea, shrimp po boy at French Market (just ok, but generous amount of shrimp) and fish & chips at Golden Horseshoe, so between that salmon salad and the fried option I'm happy with the offerings still available.
Another vote for the Chicken, Apple and Walnut Salad at Pacific Wharf Cafe at DCA. If you have a nut allergy in your group, they will make you one without walnuts too. (They might otherwise as well). So good. Next time I think I will get the bread on the side.
