Best route to EE for FP?

We'll be at AK in 11 days! I plan to send my group to ITTBAB first thing, while I run and grab 8 FP's for EE. What are my chances of EE being open/running? Will I be able to get FP's first thing? What is the best route to take from the entrance to get to the FP machine? (only 1/2 the group will be riding and since this is first time for most to AK, I don't want to start the day with them waiting while we ride, hence we are starting with ITTBAB). Thanks!

Well, there's two options and I'm not exactly sure which is quicker. One, you can go straight to Asia which is a ways back. The second is to go to Dinoland USA and take the bridge that was built across to Everest.

When I was there, the Dinoland way was definitely the least crowded. I would say they both are about the same distance but the fastpasses are slightly closer to the main Asia way.
