Best route MCO to Siesta Key?

We will be arriving at MCO around 10am Sat Dec 17 and was wondering what the best route would be to drive to Siesta Key? I have read that there is some construction on the I-4. Is there an alternate route to Siesta Key?
btw, I have never travelled from MCO to SW Florida before so any advice/info would be greatly appreciated.

I would take I4 west to I75 south and exit at Sarasota, probably Fruitville Road. There is always construction on I4, but on a Saturday leaving Orlando it should be fine, especially if you take the south airport exit and stay on 417 until it intersects I4. I did this over spring break and the only problem was coming back to Orlando which took a bit longer.
