Best route JAX to Poly?? Thanks!

Does anyone have route suggestions from JAX to the Poly? We'll arrive at JAX around noon on Tuesday 4/17. Thanks!

From JAX take:

I-95 SOUTH through downtown and continue south on I-95 to Daytona Beach.
I-4 WEST from Daytona through downtown Orlando to the Disney area.
Exit I-4 as if you were going to the Magic Kingdom. (Follow Magic Kingdom signs.)
At the Magic Kingdom toll plaza tell the attendant you're going to Poly so you don't get charged.
Follow the signs for the Polynesian Resort adjacent the TTC.

At aprox. 1pm traffic should be fine through downtown Jacksonville.
At aprox. 3pm traffic should be fine through downtown Orlando.

If you leave JAX at 1:00 (assuming a noon arrival, retrieval of luggage and rental car) the traffic up north will be fine. You'll hit the beginning of Orlando rush hour around 4:00. As long as you are through Orlando by around 4:00, you'll be fine.

If you are running late, I'd strongly suggest getting off I-4 at Altamonte Springs and having a liesurely dinner--you'll find a bunch of chain restaurants including Red Lobster, Macaroni Grill, etc. as you head west on Route 436 (east Semoran). By the time you finish between 6:00 & 7:00, the worst of the traffic will have eased.

Thanks for the driving info. We've always flown into Orlando, so this is a new adventure for us. On the way to work this morning I saw a log sticking out of the snow that looked just like an alligator. I guess I have Florida on my mind!
